A Brief History:

GALE FORCE was started in Monaco in 1988 and quickly became a leading supplier of custom software and computer hardware for the expanding local PC market.

In 1990 GALE FORCE became the first company in Monaco to build 'clone' PC's.

In 1992 GALE FORCE started experiments with Virtual Reality and began to provide a 3D modeling and animation service for local companies.

In 1992 GALE FORCE sub contracted from ITS all the onsite maintenance and installation work for Bloomberg Financial Services in Monaco.

In 1993 GALE FORCE Jeux was created and rapidly became one of the top 5 computer games mail order companies in France. GALE FORCE Jeux has since been closed due to a variety of factors.

In 1994 GALE FORCE Networks began work on the first public Internet access in the South of France. The access was opened in Monaco in January of 1995. This was Monaco's first presence on the Internet and included creation of the new .mc top-level domain.

In 1995 we also created our GALE FORCE F1 (
http://www.galeforcef1.com) Internet site covering all the news and results in the world of F1 motor racing.

In 1996, due to rising local demand, GALE FORCE Networks created a dial-in Internet access point for the surrounding region of France.

In 1998 GALE FORCE signed a contract with Bloomberg Financial Services to host their local node and provide onsite installation and maintenance support for their South of France clients. Part of this project was the construction of a new environmentally controlled and monitored computer room in Monaco.

In 2001 GALE FORCE took over all the contracts and clients of Société Monégasque d'Informatique. These included the International Atomic Energy Commission and the Monaco Police department.

In 2002 we decided to close GALE FORCE F1 for business reasons. At the time the database driven site was processing over 1 million page views per month.

In 2007 as an experiment we start the MonacoGrandPrix.Info site using Panoramic photograpy.
